7-ply corrugated box uses four liners and three fluted layers. It carries 25–50 kg and above, offers the highest compression strength of any corrugated construction, and often replaces wooden crates for heavy machinery parts.

When to use 7 ply
7-ply is triple-wall. Its compression strength lets it replace timber crates on many export routes, which removes ISPM-15 fumigation requirements and cuts both weight and cost.
For heavy consignments this is usually the cheapest total solution — a 7-ply carton with foam fitments almost always beats a wooden crate on freight cost, handling time and compliance paperwork.
